Instant pineapple rasam pot : no lentils no rasam powder no mixer grinder: southindian soup

Rasam is a good appetiser and more if southindian delicacy.


It has all natural ingredients to keep good immunity system and water content to beat the summer heat. 


How to make South Indian rasam in just 5 mins?


Ingredients 

1/4 of a pineapple 

2-3 ripe tomatos,

1tsp salt,

1/4 tsp turmeric, 

3 green chilli, 

Coriander powder 


3-4 tsp oil,  

1tsp mustard seeds,  

asafotida,

fresh coriander.

Water 


Serving : 4 adults


Method:


Finely chopped tomatoes, one half of pineapple make it finely chopped other half cut it as big cubes.

Turn on stove and to a pot or kadai add 3-4 tsp oil, once oil heats up add mustard seeds let it splutter,. After spluttering add pinch of asafotida and green chillies, now add the finely chopped pineapple and finely chopped tomatoes, salt, turmeric let it cook and soften. Add couriander powder. 


After tomatoes and pineapple soften add 3 cups of water. Let it bubble up and then add the pineapples cut into cubes. Let it cook for two minutes and after that turn off stove add couriander leaves.


Pineapple rasam ready to be served hot to be mixed with rice or in a cup as a soup.
